Smartphone manufacturers this year have tried varied methods to produce an all-screen, huge body to screen ratio on their devices, many without much success or a not so pleasant experience.
Well one way to remove the front-facing camera but still have selfies is to have a secondary screen on the back. That’s what the ZTE subsidiary Nubia did with their latest flagship Nubia X.
The phone was announced for sale in three colors and with three memory configurations and all 100,000 units were gone in under a minute.
With a post on Weibo, nubia boasted about ending the first flash sale in just 57 seconds. It is planning to do a second one, scheduled for exactly at midnight on November 11, also known as Global Shopping Festival Day in China.
The prices of the Nubia X are expected to stay the same $473 for the 6/64 GB version; the 8/128 GB configuration is $530; the most expensive variant is 8/256 GB for $602.
