Hosted annually in March, Asa Baako is one of Ghana and Africa’s most established and inclusive music festivals. Taking place over a 5 days span, Asa Baako features musicians and artists from across Ghana, Africa and the world, in the spectacular paradise village-resort of Busua Beach, near Takoradi.

“We are delighted to have Omonblanks onboard as we work to strengthen the Asa Baako programme and our ambitions to join in developing the Artistic and Creative scene in the Western region”, Kofi Debrah Co-Founder Asa Baako-One Dance

Omonblanks comes from an extensive background of music, film, talent development and management for the last 13 years. His past experience includes music production; film and documentary production, releasing his first short film Humanimals and documentary Adekunle in his directorial debut; festival and concert curating and producing; tour organising; and managing corporate events.

Omonblanks is also the founder & creative director of TAC (The Art Concept) organisation, a platform that wants to find way for African creatives to create and move smoothly and freely within the continent.

Omonblanks will be partaking in developing the overall programming vision and objectives for Asa Baako – One Dance 2019 and 2020 with the Asa Baako Producers, and subsequent expansion of the programme across the Western Region.

The Next Asa Baako festival will be taking place from 6 – 10 March 2019 in Busua and Takoradi.
